Wallen was born the 13th of May 1993, in Sneedville, Tennessee. Wallen is the child of the pastor Tommy Wallen (father) and Leslie Wallen. Ashlyne Mikaela and Lacey were his 3 sisters. They were adopted in by their parents in 2021. Wallen began to sing in church from a very young age. He also was a piano and violin teacher. Following a sprain to his left elbow, Wallen had to abandon his dream of playing baseball.
